The 2007 International Dogwood Festival Parade is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14th. The theme this year will be "Evolved - Celebrating Our Heritage". Be sure and get to Winchester's historic downtown square early, this year's parade is sure to be a hit and the best viewing areas will go quick. The Grand Marshall for Winchester's 2007 International Dogwood Festival Parade will be none other than NewsChannel 5's Emmy-award winning newsanchor Rhori Johnston. Johnston joined the NewsChannel 5 Network in the fall of 2005 and is the co-anchor of NewsChannel 5 at 5:00 and 10:00 with Kristin Priesol.
